Synopsis:

TERRIBLE CHILDREN explores the unlikely love story between the filmmaker’s Indian father and Danish mother. Her parents experienced two parallel wars based on ethnic purity: Muslim-Hindu riots in Partition-torn India and Nazi-occupied Denmark. Their daughter narrates over impressionistic cinematography and searing archival footage. Mesmerizing and sensual, the story explores love and redemption across three continents.
