Synopsis:

Over the course of a single day in New York City, two creative professionals struggling with different forms of loss find themselves moving toward an unexpected encounter that challenges each to reconsider the future.

Synopsis:

Peter de Vries, a photographer struggling to move forward after the death of his wife, and Adrianna Maier, a theatrical lighting designer grappling with the discovery of a long-lost brother she never truly knew, are strangers connected by lives that have quietly come to a standstill.

Over the course of a single day in New York City, each confronts the questions, memories, and regrets that have shaped them. As mutual friends attempt to bring them together, their separate journeys unfold in parallel, revealing two people searching for a way beyond loss, uncertainty, and the stories they have told themselves about the past.

When they finally meet at the opening of Peter's gallery exhibition, an unexpected connection challenges both to imagine a different future.

STOP TIME is a moving portrait of grief, identity, and the possibility that healing can begin when life starts moving again.
